Top Paddock is the newest café in the Richmond area and since it has opened people have been flocking from all over the place to see if it lives up to it's other sister cafes - Two Birds One Stone & Three Bags Full.

Orita's is situated in the heart of the Toorak Village and I remember being taken there years ago for my b'day. I had a housewarming party in the area so decided to eat there to line my stomach before heading over there.

It was a miserable Saturday morning, the wind had a chill in it, the sky was grey and it was drizzling.. My friend and I were on the hunt for a good porridge and I remember reading a piece on the homemade porridges at Leroy Espresso in St Kilda.

It was a cold wintery weeknight when I went to Dandelion in Elwood.  It's a restaurant that I have been wanting to go since Geoff Lindsay opened it as I was a fan of Pearl restaurant,  We had an early booking and we were the first ones in the restaurant and were seated by the glass.

Saigon Sally the newest Vietnamese place in Windsor to open on the back of the success of it's older sister Hanoi Hannah.  I don't rate Hanoi Hannah, I felt that it is overpriced Street Vietnamese food that you can get for half the price down Victoria St in Richmond.

I've been wanting to go to Ilona Staller awhile as I am down Carlisle St a lot.  It is the sister restaurant to the much loved Ciccolina on Acland St.  The good thing about this restaurant is that you can book so no need to wait for an hour at the bar.

One of my recent favourite restaurants is Circa, I went to it when it first opened and was blown away by the quality of the food and have since been lucky enough to have dined there a few more times.  The food has a modern Asian twist to it and is constantly evolving with the seasons.

I love a Mexican breakfast and there aren't a lot of really good ones around in Melbourne.  I used to be a fan of Bluecorn in St Kilda but they have definitely gone downhill.  After having an amazing dinner at Cantina the other night, I had to try their breakfasts.

Acland St Cantina is the new hot spot in St Kilda and part of the growing Mexican craze that's hit Melbourne.  Housed in the old Mink bar, the guys at Melbourne Pub Group have done a fantastic job revamping this iconic bar into a very cool Mexican den.

Satsuki is by far one of the best Japanese cafes in Melbourne, I blogged about this cafe in Malvern East 3 years ago and I have been going there since it first opened over 7 years ago.  It is run by husband and wife team who always greet me with a wave and smile as I enter and leave.
